George Eliot Hospital Charity was established in 1996 to provide additional funding to support our Trust to provide excellent care to our patients and provide funding to develop staff wellbeing, training and a great working environment.

Patient and family support – We provide the extras that help make patients and their families more comfortable.
Environment – Improving the hospital environment and creating a ‘home from home’ atmosphere, make spaces more welcoming for everyone.
Equipment – Funding state-of-the-art specialist medical equipment that would otherwise be unavailable ensures access to life-saving treatment.
Staff development – Ensuring staff have access to the latest training, development and emotional support so they can continue to excel at patient care.
